I was in Kelly’s apartment when the phone rang. I picked it up immediately. It was for me and the voice speaking to me was garbled. I was able to make out a particular voice. It was male. Boy, was it rainy that day. Listen to the sky howl. I especially enjoy the rustling trees, the person hurrying into their house and the death clouds.
Studio Study is a video project based on the theme time-expansion. What started out as a mere testing of lighting and video equipment turned into an audio-visual collage. I composed the clips in Final Cut Pro. The content is in and of itself. I have a passion for spontaneous music-making and this video, with indented exaggerations, analyzes the motivations for which the music is created.
